We just got back from a ten day trip to Hawaii, and after some much needed time off, we're both back on the mainland and ready to face life again.
For M, this means balancing work with personal time as his real estate business takes off. For me balance means more time in the kitchen while I'm not in the office, working on new recipes and playing around.
As a couple, we are still riding high on island vibes and trying to preserve as much of the tranquility and Aloha spirit that brings us back to Kauai every year. Hence this weekend's tropical smoothie bowls, inspired by a breakfast had at our favorite smoothie bowl joint in the back of a tiny grocery store.
Tropical Smoothie Bowls
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 cup of frozen mango
- 2 tbsp of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- granola (we always bring back a bag of Anahola!)
- chia pudding
- goji berries
